Nighthawks is a quality diner located on Nicollet Ave. Their burger is fantastic and deserves rank right up there with Saint Dinette’s burger, Parlour’s, and Revival’s. The bun is toasted, the patty is smashed and buttery, the cheese is melty, and the lettuce is shredded (my favorite.) We also tried the Reuben, which I liked minus the caramelized onions (those made the sandwich too sweet for my liking.) The hot dog looks cool, but the hot dog itself was too skinny for the large bun. They have cheap bottles of wine and cocktails on their menu as well.
