Italian Eatery is an Italian restaurant with the added bonus of a creative wine list, craft cocktails, and some delicious fish dishes. The food did not blow me away, but the service was great and the restaurant itself bustling and charming. It is a good place to go with a group, especially if there are some picky eaters tagging along, as the menu offers a variety of standard pasta and meat options. We tried the burrata and octopus appetizer, four pastas (loved the simplicity of their gnocchi the best), and the short rib. If you go, I recommend splitting a couple half portions of pastas so you can try a variety. The food was prepared correctly, but I didn’t get the comfort and joy I usually do from eating a big bowl of homemade pasta. This could likely be because the flavors did not jump out at me or because the prices were much higher than I expected for the size/taste. I plan to give it another try soon!
